Aquaculture is about cultivating marine species (animal and plants) under controlled condition. While understanding aquatic life is the important aspect, a basic course in aquaculture or a degree in fisheries will make you eligible to make a career in this field. To be eligible for a degree course in fisheries, 10+2 in science with Biology as a subject is a must.
